As a man from the Ozarks with lots of family in southern Missouri, spelling is not them boys strong suit. My grandfather and his siblings all quit school after the 8th grade to work the fields.
Lou-eeee-ville😢😢😢
In 1965 I got paid $1.25 an hour, which was minimum wage in California at that time. It was my first job, I thought I was rich.
So what happened
That's beautiful i hope to be like that when I'm older
My first job i got $6.00 a hour and was cash
Not much like a story from a old fisherman.
My first job minimum wage was 365 an hour. It was at a car wash called scrub a dub.
I bet that $ bought more back then (milk, bread, eggs etc) than what we can buy today! How much did a house cost from a Sears catalog? 😂😢❤
In '71, the min wage was $1.65 an hour. The store I worked at also paid cash.
Thanks to this mans father, we have less fish and regulations
I have opened hundreds of those bags
This dude looks 68, thats insane for 100
I worked my first job for 50c an hr. 1972 got raised to 75c an hour. . In High Cotton now, I thought.
That is real minimum wage. God bless her!
Love to hear more from this man.

Luv this, reminds me of my Dad ( born 1925) who always told a gr8 story, esp of growing up in rural New Zealand during the depression.
